And I'm almost ready to return
There are still many flaws I have
But I gotta try again with that girl
And I tried too hard and I pushed her away
She might be up there with some other guy
But since it's never really been the same

And I think of her when I can't fall asleep

But I still remember the tune she sang
And how it seemed to sound something like

The words she had softly spoken
